Setting up the Body Font in Customization Center

Context

It's important to configure the Body Font correctly for your applications. This can be done on a across all the apps or individually for Web App, Mobile App, and Kiosk App.

Font choice

To ensure proper functionality of body text, select a font that offers three distinct font weights:

• Regular
• Semibold
• Bold

For example, if your Brand is using the Open Sans font, you should prepare and upload three font weights: Open Sans Regular, Open Sans Semibold, and Open Sans Bold. These fonts should be mapped as in the following image:

Please note: In theory, you can upload and map fonts from different font families, but we really don't recommend this. Mixing fonts this way can lead to unexpected results. If you try it, our system will ping you with this pop-up:

Fonts naming convention:

The fonts available aren't always perfect. For example, sometimes it happens that fonts from the same font family have slightly different family names, because they were not named consistently. Take a look - it's the same font family, but naming makes it so that the system does not let one of them pass the check:
