Creating a New Menu in the Management Center: Step-by-Step Guide

Log in to the Management Center (MC) with your Brand Manager credentials.
Navigate to the Menu section.
Within 'Menus' click on the ‘Create Menu’ button. This opens a modal for the user to enter a menu name and create a menu.. When the menu is created it is opened in edit mode show the snack bar “menu successfully created”
Fill in the required and optional fields as per your requirements:
*Name: This is a required field. Enter the name of the menu as it should appear in the MC and applications.
Internal Name: This is an optional field. You can enter a name that will be used for back office understanding of same-name entities, or as an internal identifier used in the brand or stores, familiar to operators.
External ID: This is an optional field. If you have an external system (like OAPI), you can enter the ID from that system here.
Description: This is an optional field. You can enter a description for the menu.
(Not visible on internal channels. May be used by agency-created apps using our Ordering API.
Image: This is an optional field. You can upload an image that represents the menu.

Click on 'Choose from files' on image field will open OS’s file explorer. We only allow JPG, JPEG, GIF, or PNG to be selected. Other file formats are be disabled.
Image size can only be a max of 1 MB. If the format or the file size are incorrect you will be presented with an error message.
*Menu availability on internal channels: This is required if you have 1st party ordering channels. Select which internal channels and order types the menu will be available.
*Menu availability on external channels: This is required if you have 3rd party ordering channels. Select which external channels and order types the menu will be available.
Serving times: This is an optional field. You can define the days and times when this menu will be available. ‘Adding serving times’ will open the serving times modal which is the same as opening times and delivery hours. Not adding serving time does not restrict the menu availability and will be available throughout the stores opening hours.
Store groups: This is an optional field. Choose in which store groups this menu will be available. Click on 'Manage store groups'. Select the store groups for which the menu will be available for.
Once you’ve filled in the details, click on the ‘Save’ button to create the menu
