How to Set Global Quantity Rules on Modifier Product Groups: Step-by-Step Guide

• Log in to the Management Center (MC) with your Brand Manager credentials.
• Navigate to the Product Groups page under Menu in the MC.
• Select the modifier product group to which you want to add global quantity rules.
• Select ‘Contains products’ tab.

Minimum Quantity - The minimum number of products a customer must select within the modifier group.

• By default, the minimum quantity is set to 0, meaning the customer is not required to select any options.
• If you enter 1 or more, the customer must select at least that many options from the modifier group before proceeding.
• This field cannot be left blank.
• The minimum can not be a number greater than the max quantity set.
• The minimum can not exceed the number of product within the group.

Maximum Quantity - The maximum number of products a customer can select within the modifier group.

• By default, the minimum quantity is empty, meaning the customer can select as many options as they want.
• If you enter 1 or more, the customer will be limited to selecting a maximum number of options equal to the number you’ve entered. For example, entering 3 will allow the customer to select up to 3 options, no more.
• The max quantity can not be a number smaller than Min quantity
• If you have preselected products, the maximum quantity cannot be less than the sum of all preselected products in this group

Maximum Single Quantity - Defines how many times can customers select any single product.

• By default, the maximum single quantity is set to 1, meaning the customer can select a product only once.
• If you enter a number greater than 1, the customer will be able to select a single product in the modifier group up to that many times.
• The maximum single quantity cannot be greater than the maximum quantity
• The maximum single quantity cannot be less than the preselected quantity on a product

Maximum Quantity per Product (Quantity Limits)

• You can further limit the number of specific products a customer can select, independent of the global maximum quantity. For example, you can set a maximum of 5 for the entire product group, but limit the customer to selecting only 2 Bacons and 1 Cucumber.
• To enable maximum quantity per product, turn on the ‘Preselected & Max Quantities’ toggle.
• For the products you choose, enter their maximum quantities.
• The maximum quantity per product cannot exceed the maximum quantity for the entire group.
