Types of Event Notifications
Event notifications are categorised into two types:
Optional Notifications
These can be customised in the CMS:

New Active Order
-
Customer Arrived
-
Courier Arrived
Mandatory Notifications
These are always active and cannot be disabled:

Manual Order
-
Order Failed to Reach POS
-
Order Canceled (by customer or DSP courier)

Order Failed to Update Status
Notification Settings (For Optional Notifications Only)
Settings are managed in the CMS and control both visibility and sound:
| Setting | Behavior |
| No Notification | No sound or visual alert |
| Single Sound Notification | Visual alert + short sound |
| Sound Notification with Interaction Required | Visual + sound that persists until user interacts |
⚠️ Mandatory notifications always behave like “Sound Notification with Interaction Required”, regardless of settings.

Interacting with Notifications
When Tapped
Notifications redirect users to the relevant order section:
| Event Type | Redirects To |
| New Active Order | In-Progress |
| Customer Arrived | In-Progress |
| Courier Arrived | In-Progress |
| Manual Order | In-Progress |
| Order Failed to Reach POS | In-Progress |
| Order Failed to Update Status | In-Progress |
| Order Canceled | Completed Orders |
Dismissing Notifications

Tap the dismiss button or swipe left.

Dismissing one notification automatically dismisses others of the same type.
Merging Notifications
-
Multiple notifications of the same type are merged into one.
-
A quantity indicator shows how many events occurred.
