If you run out of Item or if it is no longer available, you can disable it through the CMS. Disabled Items can also be re-enabled through the CMS. Item availability is always controlled per Venue, even if the Venue belongs to Chain.
NOTE: If you have a POS integration and enable/disable Item in the POS, it will automatically be enabled/disabled in MENU within 30 minutes.
To enable/disable Item:
- Click Venue List at the top navigation bar
- Select the Venue in which you want to disable the Item
- Click Menu at the top navigation bar to open the Menu page
- Select Item's Subcategory
- Select Item
- Click DISABLE (if the Item is currently enabled) or ENABLE (if the Item is currently disabled)
NOTE: On Mobile & Web, disabled Items will be marked as NOT AVAILABLE, while on Kiosk, disabled Items will not be shown at all.

Temporarily disable Item
You can also temporarily disable Items in the CMS. Items can be disabled for the following periods of time:
- 1 hour
- 4 hours
- till the end of the day (12pm depending on the Venue's time zone)
Temporarily disabled Item cannot be selected during this period of time. After this time expires, disabled Item will be automatically enabled again.
To temporarily disable Item:
- Select Venue List at the top navigation bar
- Select the Venue
- Select Menu at the top navigation bar
- Select Item's Subcategory
- Select Item
- Click TEMPORARY DISABLE
- Temporary Disable modal pops up
- Select period for which you want the Item to be disabled (1h, 4h, till the end of the day)
- Click SUBMIT
You have temporarily disabled Item.
