You can disable Category through the CMS. Disabled Categories can also be re-enabled through the CMS. The availability of Category is always controlled per Venue, even if the Venue belongs to Chain.
To enable/disable Category:
- Click on Venue List at the top navigation bar
- Select Venue
- Click Menu at the top navigation bar
- Select Category from the sidebar
- Click DISABLE (if Category is currently enabled) or ENABLE (if Category is currently disabled)
NOTE: Disabled Categories are not displayed on Channels.
Temporarily disable Category
You can also temporarily disable Category in the CMS. Temporarily disabled Categories can also be re-enabled in the CMS.
Category can be disabled for the following periods of time:
- 1 hour
- 4 hours
- till the end of the day (12pm depending on the Venue's time zone)
To temporarily disable Category:
- Select Venue List at the top navigation bar
- Select Venue
- Select Menu at the top navigation bar
- Select Category
- Click TEMPORARY DISABLE
- Temporary Disable modal pops up
- Select period for which you want the Category to be disabled (1h, 4h, till the end of the day)
- Click SUBMIT
You have temporarily disabled Category.
NOTE: Temporarily disabled Categories (and their Subcategories and Items) are not visible on Channels, but are marked as Disabled in the CMS.
