You can disable your Subcategory through the CMS. Disabled Subcategories can also be re-enabled through the CMS. The availability of Subcategory is always controlled per Venue, even if the Venue belongs to Chain.
To enable/disable Subcategory:
- Select Venue List at the top navigation bar
- Select Venue you want to enable/disable
- Click Menu at the top navigation bar
- Select Subcategory
- Click DISABLE (if Subcategory is currently enabled) or ENABLE (if Subcategory is currently disabled)
NOTE: Disabled Subcategories are not displayed on Channels, but are marked as Disabled in the CMS.
Temporarily disable Subcategory
You can also temporarily disable Subcategory in the CMS. Temporarily disabled Subcategories can also be re-enabled in the CMS.
Subcategory can be disabled for the following periods of time:
- 1 hour
- 4 hours
- till the end of the day (12pm depending on the Venue's time zone)
To temporarily disable Subcategory:
- Select Venue List at the top navigation bar
- Select Venue
- Select Menu
- Select Subcategory
- Click TEMPORARY DISABLE
- Temporary Disable modal pops up
- Select period for which you want the Subcategory to be disabled (1h, 4h, till the end of the day)
- Click SUBMIT
You have temporarily disabled Subcategory.
NOTE: Temporarily disabled Subcategories (and their Items) are not visible on Channels, but are marked as Disabled in the CMS.
