A Delivery Fee defines how much a customer has to pay for their delivery order. Delivery Fees are assigned to Delivery Zones. Multiple Delivery Fees can be created per Venue.
PAR Ordering supports 3 different Delivery Fee Types:
- No Fee: Deliveries are free
- Fixed Fee: A Fixed Fee is charged for the delivery, no matter where the customer's address is within the Delivery Zone
- Distance based Fee: A Fee is charged based on the distance between the Venue's location and the customer's address. The Fee is defined per km / mile (depending on your Venue's Country)
- Delivery fee set per Menu Item: A price of an Item can be modified (increased) for the Delivery order type (for more information on this, please check out Delivery price section in How to change Item?)
To add a Delivery Fee:
- Select your Venue from the Venue List in the top navigation bar (skip this if you manage one Venue, the CMS automatically opens the Venue for you)
- Click on Areas in the top navigation bar
- Click on the Delivery area in the sidebar
- For a Delivery Zone, open the Delivery fee drop down (if you do not have any Delivery Zones yet, see How to add Delivery Zone?)
- Click on ADD DELIVERY FEE
- Add Delivery Fee form appears
- Select the Delivery fee type that you want to create

- Depending on the type chosen, enter a Delivery Fee
- Click to SUBMIT to add the Delivery Fee
