Publishing collects all new Strings and packs them in a JSON file. Every Project in a Set has its own JSON file. Changes made on Strings will not be visible to Users unless they are published. The unpublished ones will be marked.
Publishing is available per Feature in a Customization Set Project if any changes were made to the Strings in that Feature.
To publish changes:
- Select the Feature which contains Strings that have been added/modified
An orange dot next to the String indicates that the change hasn’t been published.
- Click Publish at the top right corner to publish changes
- Confirmation dialog appears
- Click Publish to complete the process
Changes made to the String are successfully published.
NOTE: If there are no changes to be published, the Publish button will not be visible.
