Tablets can sometimes cause some confusion in terms of how to actually use them.
So, here you can find some Tablet golden rules.

Important rules

SureLock needs to run all the time

It is important that SureLock is running all the time and is set as your default Launcher. This will prevent Stores from using the tablet for any private activities or any inappropriate apps. SureLock will also make sure that the MENU Tablet App is running all the time, so the Store will not experience any downtime or miss any orders. 

Grant all needed Permissions

During the Setup Procedure you will need to grant some specific permissions to SureMDM and SureLock. If those permissions are not set correctly, MENU Support can't properly update your Tablet App and remote connect for any further assistance.

Set Accessibility Settings

Use only certified Tablet Hardware/Models

In order to guarantee the reliability, smooth operations in the store and the best support, MENU certifies Tablet models that can be used in production to run the MENU Tablet App.

Never set a Lock Screen Password

The Lock Screen Password will prevent MENU Technologies from remote connecting and do any needed adjustments to the tablet while the Store is offline. There is no need for a Lock Screen Password as long as SureLock is running, as SureLock prevents access to the Android system.
