Technology isn't ideal - it can sometimes play us a little bit. This article shows some common setup issues as well as some help on how to enable or set specific settings.
Common Setup Questions/Issues
1. How to set SureLock as your Default Launcher
Option1
During the Tablet setup procedure, you will need to set SureLock as your Default Launcher:
If you click on Set SureLock As Default Launcher it will most probably show you this screen:
Click on Goto Home-Screen Settings - your Android settings will open. Here, select the following to clear your Launcher Defaults:
Once you have cleared your defaults, return to the SureLock Permission Checklist and click again on Set SureLock As Default Launcher.
It will now show you the following:
Now, you just have to click on SureLock and hit Always.
SureLock is now set as your Default Launcher!
Option 2
If you have already set up your tablet and you are in Android outside of SureLock, find the SureLock Application and start it:
Click on OK, Got it! on the following screen:
It will now prompt you to either select SureLock and hit Always...
... or it will show the following, where you just select SureLock and it will start automatically:
SureLock will start and is now set as your Default Launcher!
2. SureLock is started but will not show any APPs
In rare cases you can find yourself stuck on this screen:
If that happens, just click on Scan QR Code and scan the following QR Code to load the settings:
SureLock should now be activated automatically and, already with a preset of some Settings.
After a while, you should see this screen:
