Illustrations

Context

Design resources are images, illustrations and icons that are used as supportive elements that help users better understand how to navigate through the app and complete certain actions.

You can use MENU default illustrations for your Mobile App, or create your own. Default illustrations will use your brand colors (primary and secondary) that are set in color section of Customization Center.

You can find all default illustrations in this Figma file and use them as a template.

Please note: If you want custom illustrations, they must be created following guidelines shown below.

Splash image

The splash image is displayed on the Splash Screen and it's the first screen the User sees after launching the app. A best practice is to use the logo of your brand. The illustration should have a transparent background. You can choose the background color for whole screen in Colors section in Customization Center. This illustration must be custom.

Onboarding image

The onboarding image is displayed on the onboarding screen and welcomes new Users upon the initial start of the app. It’s displayed only once, after opening the app for the first time. The best practice is to use a representative image of food, brand logo, or illustration.

Location permission image

Location permission image is displayed on the location permission screen and it's used to explain to the Users that the device location is necessary in order to see the nearest restaurant's location based on a user's current location.

Notification permission image

Notification permission image is displayed on the notification permission screen and it's used to explain to the Users that turning on the notifications will allow them to be informed when the order is ready to be collected.

No internet connection image

Wi-Fi image is displayed on the no internet connection screen and it's used to explain to the user that the internet connection is necessary in order to use the app and place the order.

Fresh order image

Fresh order image is displayed on the location permission screen for Smart Orders and it's used to explain to the users that the precise location of their device is necessary to use Smart Orders functionality.

Magic link image

A magic link image is displayed in your app when you enable registration without a password. It will be shown to the user when they try to register a new account.

Scan instruction image

Scan instruction image is displayed on the scan instruction screen as a manual on how to add Offers or Rewards from the Mobile App to the Kiosk ordering.

Referral instruction image

Referral instruction image is displayed on the Referral instruction screen as a manual on how to share the referral code with friends and earn Offers/Loyalty points.

App update image

App update image is displayed on the force update screen which requires Users to update the app in order to continue using it.

Privacy image

Privacy image is displayed during the onboarding process for brands that are follow GDPR rules and requires user agreement to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Secure image

Secure image is displayed on secure your payment layover (3DS) during the card verification process.

Curbside image

Curbside image is shown for Brands that have enabled Curbside as an Order Type and its displayed on a curbside explanatory layover.

Curbside vehicle image

Curbside vehicle image is also shown for Brands that have enabled Curbside as an Order Type and its displayed on a vehicle details screen.

Demographic data image

Demographic data image is shown for Brands that have enabled the Demographic Data feature that is used for collecting Users' personal data.

Location tracking image

Location tracking image is shown for Brands that have enabled Smart Order as a feature. It's displayed on a layover that is used to explain the functionality of the smart ordering process.
