Context
If a user leaves your team, follow the steps below to delete the user role if it is no longer in use, or to remove them from your brand.
How to delete a user role?
To delete a user role:
- Navigate to the Brand´s All Stores navigation level
- Select the Configurations sub-navigation
- Select Roles
- You can delete a custom role from the list of available roles, by selecting the role and clicking on the Delete button.
- A role can only be deleted if no user is using this role, if there are users assigned you are unable to delete the role. All users will need to be removed from the role and reassigned a new role within the Users’ screen.
Note: see below "How to remove a User?"
- Default roles cannot be deleted.
- You can delete a custom role from the list of available roles, by selecting the role and clicking on the Delete button.
How to remove a user?
To remove a user:
- Navigate to the Brand´s All Stores navigation level:
- Select the Configurations sub-navigation:
- Select Users
- Select the role to be removed.
- Click on the 3 dots and select the Remove option.
- Confirm your selection.
Note: If the user you are removing has multi brand access, they are required to be removed from each brands user list individually. Removing the user from Brand ‘A’ does not remove the user from Brand ‘B’.
