Context
This short article explains some of the error statuses that are common for Kiosk.
Please note: This list doesn't include all possible Kiosk error messages. If you encounter an issue that isn't listed here, please don't worry - we will help anyway. Just reach out to our Support Team here.
List of Out Of Order statuses with explanations
| STATUS | MEANING |
| The kiosk is disabled | If the kiosk lost power |
| Failed to fetch venue | If a request for getting venue by id throws an error |
| Failed to fetch menu | If a request for getting menu by id throws an error |
| Failed to fetch company | If a request for getting company by id throws an error |
| Printer error | If a printer isn’t connected in cms to the venue, or someone broke the printer |
| NFC reader error | If an NFC reader isn’t connected to a kiosk, or someone broke the NFC reader |
| dispenser_ch1block | If puck is stuck into the puck dispenser |
| dispenser_ch0block | If puck is stuck into the puck dispenser |
| dispenser_empty | If there are no pucks in the dispenser |
| dispenser_lost | If we have a timeout from HTTP response |
| dispenser_lost | If we have a LAN problem and again there is no response |
| dispenser_fatal | If we have a failed response |
| dispenser_connection | If we have a connection problem but it's resolved from dispenser response |
| The strings file is broken | The translation file on the client-side isn’t updated |
| Failed to fetch strings file | Failed to get a strings file from Amazon |
| The branding file is broken | The branding file on the Client side isn’t updated |
| Failed to fetch branding file | failed to get a branding file from Amazon |
| Language error | if there no WS at all (stopped, not installed, etc) and then the client-side has no language detected |
| Payment processor SIX: Error loading the payment processor Payment unavailable Response failed Failure Attempting to reload the payment processor in 5 seconds |
If SIX services aren't responding and payment doesn't go through correctly |
| Unexpected end of JSON input | If WS configuration is successful, but strings or branding property end up being empty |
| Venue temporarily offline | If the user disables Venue in CMS |
