Context
This article explains how to onboard your Stores to PAR Ordering's UberEATS integration.
Integration Overview
Online Ordering
The integration between PAR Ordering and UberEATS normally includes synchronizing the restaurant's menu, pricing, and availability with the UberEATS platform. This ensures that Customers browsing UberEATS can see the accurate Menu options and place Orders seamlessly.
When a Customer places an Order through UberEATS, the integration allows PAR Ordering to receive the Order (with all details) and integrate that information into the restaurant's POS. This ensures that UberEATS Orders are incorporated into the restaurant's existing workflow, alongside Orders from other Channels.
Reporting and Analytics
Integration with PAR Ordering enables the aggregation of Order and sales data from UberEATS along with other Channels. This allows restaurants to have comprehensive reporting and analytics, gaining insights into their overall business performance, Customer preferences, and ordering patterns across different platforms.
Setup Guide
Let's dive in into a step-by-step on how to get started using UberEATS as your aggregator. Here is your starting point: the Unified Login page, where you should select Management Center.
Authentication - Sign-up
Log in to UberEATS using the URL (from your brand’s external channels) that is provided to you by your PAR Link Solution Architect. If you do not have it, contact them to request it.
Please, ensure that you log in with a UberEATS user that “Business Admin” level of permission.
Select a Store
Now, navigate to https://cms-us.menu.app/, select a venue and go to “external channels” tab on the left side of the page.
Click on UberEATS > Stores > select the corresponding store in UberEATS and click “SUBMIT”. All other fields are auto-populated by the system.
At this moment, the store will be integrated with PAR Ordering and menu, prices and store hours will be synchronized. Please, check UberEATS to ensure that this information is synchronized correctly and place a test order to confirm that the order is automatically injected in the POS.
