Guest Checkout Updates: Marketing Opt-In for Non-Members

Overview

We’ve enhanced the guest checkout experience to help brands capture more leads and expand their marketing reach. Guests can now choose to opt in to receive marketing emails and promotions without needing to create a loyalty or member account.

What’s New

• New Opt-In Option: A marketing consent checkbox now appears during guest checkout.

• No Account Required: Guests can share their email for promotions without completing member signup.

• Increased Reach: Collected emails can be used to target guests through existing marketing campaigns, even if they haven’t registered for an account yet.

Example Flow

1. Guest starts checkout as usual.

2. A new toggle appears: “Send me marketing emails & promotions”

3. If selected, the guest’s email is securely stored and shared with your marketing system.

4. Checkout continues without requiring membership signup.
