Finding Credentials for Mercado Pago – PAR MENU Knowledge Base

Mercado Pago is the largest online payment platform in Latin America. Enabling the Mercado Pago integration allows your customers to seamlessly pay using their existing Mercado Pago account.

To connect your Brand to your Mercado Pago account, you need to provide your Success Manager with certain credentials from your Mercado Pago account. This article will take you through the steps needed to locate the credentials.

The following credentials need to be provided to your Success Manager:

Public Key
Access Token
Client ID
Client Secret

To find the necessary credentials:

Log in to your Mercado Pago account
Navigate to Tu negocio tab

Select Configuración from the dropdown
Scroll to the bottom of the Configuración page
Click Acceder in Credenciales section

Select Credenciales de producción in Mis Credenciales page

Sending Credentials to your Success Manager

To send your credentials to your Success Manager, paste them in a text-file and create a compressed ZIP file with a strong password. Please make sure you shared the ZIP file and the password in two separate channels, for example Slack and email.
