PAR Pay Terminal - how to restart / enter admin menu

Context

This is a supporting information for this article, explaining a bit more about restarting and entering the administrator menu for the PAR Pay payment terminal.

How to restart or shutdown the terminal

1. Press # and > (Yellow Key)
2. If the terminal is in charging mode, it gets restarted. If not, it gets shut down. In this case, press O (Green Key) to switch the device back on

How to navigate to Aurus Pulse menu

1. Press 1, 5, 7 and 9 keys at the same time
2. A password screen will appear
3. Enter the password specific to your terminal's model (check it in the table at the bottom of this article)
4. Your terminal will reboot
5. Aurus Pulse screen will appear

How to navigate to terminal's menu

1. Press 2, 3, 6 and 8 keys at the same time
2. Your terminal will reboot
3. An amount screen will appear
4. Press the Function Key specific to your terminal's model (check it in the table below)
5. Terminal's menu screen will appear
