Category Specific Products

Overview

The parent group concept has been brought up a level and can not be done on a category level, allow brands to configure one category with specific products for a specific menu. This allows operators to customize which product options are available for each category x menu relation. Instead of creating separate categories for different product or menu combinations, they can use a single category and selectively hide options as needed. This ensures flexibility while keeping menu management efficient.

This feature works for via Menu & Category relationship. 
You are required to attached a category to a menu and Save before you are able to open the product tree.

• To configure specific products, navigate to the Brand , go to the Menu page, and locate the Category, you wish to modify.
• From the ‘Contains Categories’ tab. Select the category you wish to manage specific product availability for.
  • The operator can hide/unhide any product inside a category for that menu.
  • The operator can only hide/unhide the first level product, you can not manage nesting from here.
  • If the operator hides a product that contains product groups and products inside, all of them also be hidden.
  • The operator will not be able to see deeper levels of hidden products (they will not be able to unhide them), this should be done on product the main product level.
  • A operator can not reorder products inside the category.
