You can add secret menu items to your menus using Segments and Tags in the Management Center (MC). Follow the steps below to configure them.
Step 1: Log In to the Management Center
Go to the Management Center and log in.
Step 2: Navigate to the Menus Page
In the left-hand sidebar, select Menu.
Click on the Menus page.
Choose the menu where you want to add secret items.
Scroll to the bottom to find the Segments section.
Step 3: Add Segments
Under the Segments section, click Add Segment.
Enter the Segment ID to associate it with an item(s). Don’t remember your Segment IDs?Segments are configured in your Punchh Loyalty Dashboard.
Segment IDs can be reused across multiple products and items.
The same Segment ID can have different tags if needed.
💡 Tip: To remove a segment, click the trash can icon next to it in the Segments section. You also need to delete the Segment and re-add it if you want to make edits to it.
Step 4: Add Tags
In the same Segments section, you can add one or more tags to help identify menu items.
Tags will appear on the menu item across your Mobile and Web App.
Examples of tags include “Available”, “Limited Edition”, or “VIP Only.”
👤 Important: Guests must be logged in to see secret menu items or menus associated with a Segment ID.
