In order to guarantee reliability, smooth operations in the store and the best support, PAR Ordering certifies Kiosk hardware peripherals that can be used in production to run the PAR Ordering Kiosk app. When choosing a Kiosk, you can choose from existing certified Kiosk hardware peripherals or request a different hardware peripheral model to be certified by PAR Ordering.
With our certification process, we still offer our customers a solution to choose their own preferred Kiosk system by extending our list of certified Kiosk systems.

Certification Process
At this time, our development team is not accepting new KIOSK hardware certifications due to resources and certification process constraints.
If you already have a hardware that is not on our list but it was manufactured by one of the brands that we certified before please reach out to your Account Manager with the manufacturer & model information for your Kiosk hardware and we assess if it's going to be possible to certify it online by remotely accessing the KIOSK.
If the certification is successful, the kiosk and the hardware peripheral is added to the certified hardware list and you can proceed with deploying the Kiosk hardware in production. If the certification is not successful, we will provide an explanation and possible alternatives.
Kiosk notification types
In order for Kiosk notifications to work, the correct notification type in the Kiosk Windows Manager has to be selected.
Kiosk printer will print different template depending on the selected notification type, and order placing is slightly different:
-
OND: Customer will see order number when placing the order. Print will have order number printed. In order to make order ready for pickup, simply click the corresponding button on your Tablet
-
Buzzer & Locator: Customer will see a stepper informing them what's happening while they are waiting for order to be placed and while they wait for the puck. Puck will be served by the Kiosk when order is placed. Print will not have any additional information
BUZZER - to call the buzzer, click the corresponding button on your Tablet:
PUCK LOCATOR:
-
Table Number: Customer needs to type in table number to place the order. Print will have the table number printed
