Introduction
For printers that are integrated with our system, there should be no need to change any printer margins.
But if your Kiosk printout seems to be too far to the right/left or bottom/top you can adjust the printer margins in the MENU Kiosk Windows Service Manager.
How to set printer margins in the MENU Kiosk Manager
- Open the MENU Kiosk Service Manager as Administrator
C:/ProgramData/MenuKiosk/[newest version number folder]/Menu.Kiosk.Service.Manager.exe - Click on Edit ServiceCore Config
- You can adjust the margins of the printer by entering some values here:
L:
negative numbers will decrease the margin on the left; positive numbers will increase the margin on the left
T:
negative numbers will decrease the margin on the top; positive numbers will increase the margin on the top
R:
negative numbers will decrease the margin on the right; positive numbers will increase the margin on the right
B:
negative numbers will decrease the margin on the bottom; positive numbers will increase the margin on the bottom - Select OK to save the config
- To see the changes print a Test Print from within the MENU Kiosk Service Manager
- Stop the Service
- Click on Print Test
- Print a Test Print
- If the margins still do not match try adjusting the numbers in step 3
- After every change to the MENU Kiosk Service manager perform a restart of the Service for changes to take effect.
