How to Configure Product Specific Modifiers

Product Specific Modifiers allow operators to customize which modifier options are available for each product. Instead of creating separate modifier groups for different products, operators can use a single group and selectively hide options as needed. This ensures flexibility while keeping modifier management efficient.

• Log in to the Management Center (MC) with your Super Admin or Brand Manager credentials.
• Navigate to the Products page under Menu in the MC.
• Select the product where you want to add a product group.
• Select ‘Contains product groups’ tab.
• Select the modifier group you wish to manage specific modifiers for the product.
• To hide or unhide a modifier, select on the eye icon at the end of the product card, inside a modifier product group.
  • You can hide or unhide any nested product, regardless of its depth.

• If a product that contains other product groups and products are hidden, all nested items will also be shown as hidden.
• You cannot interact with deeper levels of hidden products (i.e., you cannot unhide them), but you can expand these levels to view the contents.
• If a modifier was hidden from it's original product, you can unhide it for the current product. It will remain hidden in it's original product but will be visible in the current one.
• Ensure that the number of visible products meets the minimum required for the modifier group.
• If you hide more modifiers than allowed, or if the sum of maximum single quantities is less than the number of visible products, you will not be able to save changes until the rule is satisfied.
• Once you’ve finished modifying the product group, click on the ‘Save’ button to update the available modifiers specific for this product.
