Total Sales by Channel is the first set of data displayed in the Performance tab in form of line and pie charts.
As it can be seen in the screenshot above, the graph presents the statistics for all three internal MENU ordering Channels
- Mobile
- Web
- Kiosk
and external Channels (aggregators with their menus managed in the CMS).
NOTE: If Brand has no Channels assigned, Total Sales by Channel will not be displayed.
Charts
Line chart
Line chart visually presents Total Sales data per Channel (Mobile, Web, Kiosk and external) and their sum as Total Sales on a daily basis.
- Vertical axis: Sales amount in local currency (e.g. CHF)
- Horizontal axis: Days set in Timeframe filter
The crossing between the axis which indicates day and a chart line is marked with a point. If you hover over a point in one of the lines which represent Channel (Mobile, Web, Kiosk and external) or Total, you get details about Sales amount on that specific day, displayed per Time Unit (defined in Time Unit filter).
Additional info popup (screenshot above) contains corresponding dates from Timeframe and Compare to filters, Total Sales amount per each Channel and Total Sales amount per that day. The popup also contains the Sales trend (rising or falling) comparing one date Sales amount with the corresponding one.
For more information on how these filters interact, please check out How to use Brand Performance Statistics? article and check out Timeframe and Compare to filter interaction table.
Pie chart
Pie chart visually presents Total Sales data per internal and external Channel (Mobile, Web, Kiosk and external) and Total Sales sum of all Channels for period defined in Timeframe filter.
The data is presented in numbers (amount of money in local currency) and trend (rising/falling in percentages).
