Context
Among different Order Types that we make available for you in the PAR Ordering Ecosystem and through ordering Channels, one of them is Curbside Pickup.
It's a great Order Type to have available because it gives Customers the possibility to order remotely and then collect the Order conveniently on a parking lot or another designated pickup area. This means they can run through your Store, collect their Order and have it wherever they please, and your staff is free to focus on different aspects of running the Store, because they don't have to provide table service for the Customer. The only thing to do for them is find your Customer's car, pass them their Order - and that's it!
How to set it up?
Setting up Order Types happens in Management Center. Go to MC, and then:
- Select Store List in the top navigation bar
- Select your Store
- Select Configurations
- Click Order Types
- Remember that for this Order Type, you need to setup the minimum and maximum Tips
- Select Activate

Now, you have set up this Order Type for your Store. Thanks to having it available, your Customers can order via the Mobile App.
