Overview
Cart enhancements allows you to access and manage your order from multiple points within the app, making checkout faster and more flexible. This update also introduces improved cart behavior, enhanced error handling, and redesigned features for both web and mobile experiences.Access to the cart from multiple entry points across the app for quicker checkout.
What to expect
Access to Store Finder from the cart.
Quantity selection directly in the cart.
Store Finder opens as a modal to support updated cart.
Redesigned and repositioned Add Rewards button.
Accessing the Cart
Web App (Desktop & Tablet)
The cart button is in the top navigation bar on most pages, except Store Finder, Checkout, and Order Confirmation.
On the Home screen, active carts change Order Type buttons to open the cart.
Dine-In, Table Service, Takeout, and Curbside carts link to Order Pickup.
Delivery and Catering carts link to Order Delivery or Order Catering.
The cart opens as a drawer from the right side and can be closed by clicking “X” or outside the drawer.
On the Menu page, when category navigation reaches the top, both it and the navigation bar remain fixed at the top.
Cart States:
Active: Shows item count and cart contents.
Inactive: No item count; opening shows empty cart.
Cart Popup:
Appears when adding an item, offer, or reward (desktop/tablet only).
Shows image (if available), name, customizations, and price.
Disappears automatically after 3 seconds or can be closed manually.
Mobile (Hybrid App)
Appears on:
Home screen (Order Type buttons change to open cart).
Menu page.
Rewards/Offers page (floating button).
The cart opens from the bottom and closes to return to the previous page.
Inactive cart:
Home screen buttons keep their primary function.
Cart button not shown on Menu or Rewards/Offers pages.
Store & Order Details
Restaurant name, order type, pickup date/time.
Status tags: Closed, Closed- Schedule for Later, Temporarily Unavailable.
Opens Store Finder as modal (cart remains open).
Restaurant Status Changed – Not Accepting Orders
Checkout disabled.
Quantity controls hidden.
Products cannot be edited.
Status message appears in cart, product modal, and menu.
Unavailable Products/Offers/Rewards
Marked as unavailable.
Order-based offers removed automatically.
Checkout disabled if entire cart unavailable.
