Navigate to the POS mapping page under Menu in the MC.
Select the Store group / POS Integration which you want to connect.
Your Menus, Categories, Product Groups and Products will presented over tabs.
TIPS: If you connect products at their highest level, the mapping is connected to everywhere that entity appears.
You can search for products by name, internal name or id.
“Show only not connected” is next to the search. When activated you will see a filtered list where both parents and children that are not connected. If parent product is connected but some of their children are not, show both parent product and children that are NOT connected.
For Menus, Categories and Product groups, the parent product is shown in the table as accordion.
Click on the parent table line should open/close accordion, When opened it reveals their child products
Both parents and children must be connected for connection to be complete.
If all sub-items are not connected, next to the parent product you will see a warning icon.
When parent product is connected in the child product dropdown, you will only see product that are available for the parent on POS.
Once POS id is selected, you will see a “Connect” button.
Once a product is connected, Connect will be replaced with “Disconnect”
Be aware that updating POS mapping will clearing prices, which will also invalidate all the cart instances that contain related products. The checkout step will fail (of course unless there is a successful POS sync before customer reaches the checkout step).
