External Channels Overview
External Channels in the MENU ecosystem include aggregators, search engines, chat boxes and other devices that can connect to our platform and use the features that our product provides. Every aggregator is represented with a separate Channel in the Management Center.
External Channels feature allows menus displayed on the aggregators (external channels) to be managed from the Management Center.
Restaurant Brands that integrate with MENU can accept all these new Ordering Channels without any additional administrative and operational hurdles such as: manage multiple menus in different places, inconsistent pricing, entering orders manually in the POS system, mistakes due to the inconsistencies in the menu and so on.
Orders placed in External Channels are processed through MENU's existing integration (POS, Tablet, Printer).
External Channels are added and managed by Administrators.
External Channel Types at Global Level
As previously stated, Administrators can create and manage External Channel Types at a Global level. Other Management Center users are unable to see this part.
